Yeah i tried to tie in the color of my paint with it, and actually in person it was an eye catcher. Night pics are weird. everything was cut as 1 peice so it all fit together. Like the front was 1 peice, the top was 1 peice, and the back was 1 peice. It took me awhile to get everything to line up customly flush. Heres a pic to show, i kinda miss it but it was going to weigh me down a good bit.
a busted door, no headunit, no center console, no subs, 1 t-top messed up, no lock in the door, a broken window which i just replaced. it sucks bad man. I planned to sell those 2 15's and get 1 12" L7 ported in the back with a kx600.1. guess its not happening know tho ya kno. it sucks so baddddddddddd
Damn dude...that's gotta be stomach turning! Ppl have NO respect for another person's things. Buncha haters and broke @$$ fuks out there man...Gotta watch it at all times and always hide your setup if you can. Don't go in messed up neighborhoods or around ppl that look suspicious either. Also, might be someone you know! Good luck on the new stuff!
well, my box isnt in my car yet, im waiting to save up for a good amp. But i fiberglassed my box and painted the same color my car will soon be. There will be 3 audiobahn 10s going in here.
pretty much, i just wanted to show off my hard work and the color of my car.. lol
Here some pics of mine 2 x 10'' sub. I'd like to keep as much free space as possible for long trips
Not finished yet, but just idea for F-body audio builders. Some more photos soon - right now engine rebuild in progress..., so car audio needs to be postpone.

im prolly gunna end up doing a FG set up that hides the subs... my car got broken into as some of u know so the next set up will be hidden very well

I’m very glad that you like it. BTW: It’s not finish yet. All plastic pieces will be covered by yellow leather soon I hope $$$
ScrapMaker: Well it was not easy to put the sub in place. I’ve spend lots of time on details; however I'm very glad to obtain the goal. The subs are very easy removable (under them there is place for amps, tools, etc). The airspace so not so big, but with close hatch bass effect is amazing! The only problem is that I had to change the phases of one sub in order to get rid of "silent wave" effect due subs position against each other.
Saigon_Bob: When the Haich is closed subs are almost unvisible that’s another advantage

Well, the paint was a lil over $1,000 for my car, Im hoping i have enough, because well i wont beable to get anymore of it. My boyfriend works at a paint store, and got me down to the very last drop of it. and well, i didnt have to pay $1,000, i got it fairly cheap.

Dzien dobry? Jak są wy? That is an awesome set-up, same idea I had a few years ago for my Firebird (before I stupidly got rid of it) - but I was planning on using fiberglass so I could keep some of the curves so it would look stock.
other than the fact that you'll need some sort of sound deadening material in the taillight area, otherwise the locking mechanisms, and the taillights themselves will rattle to no end.
You would have to replace the front windows, and windsheild with titanium, weld them shut, and seal the car up like you would a vacuum tank... before the rear hatch would even begin to feel pain.
You would also need some serious woofers/amps to do any damage.
Well, since we have very little numbers of cars in Poland I didn't make any plans of it. But I have some photos from construction period as well as I can create basic plans for you if you're interested. Boxes are easily removable, so it's not problem to make post-documentation. Just let me know.

BTW: jrmaatta you should rather say “Dzien dobry? Jak się masz ?” but I’m really impressed. Do you have any polish family roots ?
Hey! Siwir. Both of my great grandparents were from Warsaw, Poland. I can say a few words, but wouldnt come near spelling them. We have polish food for christmas every year. mmmm
im polish too and my dad and grandparents live in warsaw. when i was there this summer i saw a blac iroc and a brown/red rs. there aren't very many third gen's there. i love your setup siwir. if you could post up how you made them that would be awesome. wszystcy tutaj napewno beda bardzo wdzieczni! thanks again!

I was pretty sure that spelling was correct (what you put), but poltran.com told me that other way?? I couldn't remember how to spell it, heh. My parents say that I'm not Polish, but everyone thinks that I am... weird, huh? I've been working at a grocery store for some time now (last day is tomorrow) and all the Polish people come up to me b/c they need somebody that understands them, and they think I'm Polish, heh.
This pic is realllly old (Summer 04), but it gives you a pretty good idea. My hair is cut a lot shorter now.
My Bass box uses the entire depth of the rear, and is split into 2 with a partition down the middle to provide 2 separate air tight sections for each sub.
I had this setup for 3 weeks now and im considering dropping in two 3" ports for a few more db's !!.
I see Your Car is on the bottle huh nice box by da way
This is in my 2000 camaro and the box is sitting on top of the t-top slots, so I have enough room under the box to store the amplifier. The flap still closes so I can put some things in the trunk still without having it slide into the subs (and so people may not know I have them, so they dont get stolen).
I have had this setup for awhile now and am kinda looking for a change. I have the whole trunk and lid lines with dynamat xtreme, but there is still not stopping the entire trunk from rattling. Ideally, I would like to put the subs inside of that hump in the trunk, but I know that the gas tank probably takes up all that space. Does anyone know for sure to verify this?? Or if someone has other suggestions of eliminating some of that rattle better?
I found in the doors there is a plastic grille that has small rubber pieces that flap when you hit the hard bass notes. I just ripped the rubber pieces out, and my bass is clean.
I have 2 15" L7 solobarics And a memphis Mojo amp...There are alot of great ideas here. Its giving me too many ideas...lol... I will keep you posted on the out-come

Yeah, many people do this... it would be nice to just cut them so they look clean, like speaker ports instead
