Why do you need it? Sony radios follow the standard wire color convention that all aftermarket radios follow.

If you are putting one into your car, you should be using a wiring harness adapter instead of hacking up your car to save $5, and if you are using one of those, all of the wire colors will be a match for the sony wires, so the installation will be a snap. If you already hacked up your car (or if the previous owner did it for you), then you can just use the standard wire colors.

If I can ever get my piece of crap computer to stop crashing when it loads .pdf files, I'll find something that's got the standard wire color info, but until then, poke around www.installdr.com until you find it.

Pay particular attention to the column titled "Typical New Radio Equivalent Wire Color".

Yellow = 12v constant
Red = Ignition
Black = Ground

White = (Left?) Front +
White w/black stripe = (Left?) Front -

Gray = (Right?) Front +
Gray w/black stripe = (Right?) Front -

Green = (Left?) Rear +
Green w/black stripe = (Left?) Rear -

Purple = (Right?) Rear +
Purple w/black stripe = (Right?) Rear -

Orange = Illumination (DO NOT ATTACH THIS WIRE)

Blue = Power Antenna (only attach if you have a power antenna)

Blue w/white stripe = Remote wire (don't need this unless you want to hook-up an amp remote wire here)

The reason I put (Left?) and (Right?) is because I can't remember which color is which side... I know gray and white are for the front speakers and green and purple are for the back and the + and - are all correct.

If you need the colors for the factory wiring you should go to 12volt.com and find their wiring guide and put in the info for your car.
