I have a friend that ended up with a MTX 3002 amp. He has no use for it and is selling it. I thought about buying it, but really dont need it. What is the going price for these used.
Its it a good amp?

All mtx amps are good amps and all of them are under rated rms wise. Also I believe they are the easiest amps to get fixed and probably the cheapest. I paid 125 for a broken mxa6001. Then paided mtx 85 to fix it best soundin bass ever.
Product Info for specs and what not. You can get it for $140 new so I would offer around $50-70 used.
IMHO I'm not sure what you would do with it. It's not exactly the beefiest amp out there but it would run a set of speakers fairly well or two sets if you wanted to bridge down to 2 ohms. Defiantly not an amp suited for sub duty.
Don't bother with the cap. It's not worth your time especially considering the power you're running. Upgrading your grounds (battery to chassis and chassis to engine) would be a much better use for your money.
