Re: advise plz

I'd hang on to it for now. When you ever decide to sell or trade the car in, take your system out, put that thing back in,even if it doesn't work. You will never get any increased value for an aftermarket stereo in the car unless you are selling it to a friend. Just put it in the back of your closet and remember its there. Use a harness adapter to connect your new head unit, run new speaker wires and leave the old ones in, with the factory conectors intact. This will make it a snap to swap back to the original stuff if you decide to let go of the car.

Re: advise plz

The main question here is IF you still have the stock Bose radio. If you do not, then TO YOU that rear panel and the kick panel speakers are no good. People take the speakers out of that rear panel and the kick panel and put there own speakers ONLY becuase they cant get the bose stereo. The BOSE system is not operable without the BOSE stereo. Also, the original BOSE system did not have the dash speakers or the 6x9 on the side panels. They areas had a padding inserted to prevent from noise. You might want to save those as well. My car did not have the BOSE system and I am now getting all the pieces to build one.

I found a Gold Sereis Bose CD Player that fits my car (white lettering, not yellow), I have the rear panel(needs carpet). I need the kick panels and the wiring harness. I found the wiring harness from a 1992 and the guy at the yard wants $200 just for the complete harness (from front to rear). I payed $200 for the radio as well. I get the rear panel off Ebay about a year ago for $50.

Advise to you if you still have the whole system, put a bazoka or something in the back and leave as is. I was running a full Kenwood Comp system and now I am trying to get that great Bose sound. (just my two cents)

**However if you are wiling to part with some of those items, let me know how much:**
