New CD Player

I want a new CD Player for under $200. I would prefer a pioneer or alpine. Anybody have any suggestions on the best. It will need a headphone port in the front face plate and maybe bluetooth?. Thanks

Re: New CD Player

Well I am a Pioneer fan but I looked at the ones at best buy and they don't really fancy me at all. I think I might get a Kenwood for for $180 i think other than that maybe a Alpine. I want to get one at best buy because i can spend less money since I still have a gift card from christmas lol. But they don't have much of a selection.

Re: New CD Player

There is this one particular radio-I think it may be made by Jensen or JVC-that has Bluetooth capability and aux. inputs out back for an IPOD or other aux. audio device. I will look at it tonight and post up with the name and model #. It isn't a half bad radio, and I think it only cost like $120 brand-new.

I have that one in my car. . . Had it installed last November and still works like a charm. Best bang for the buck. I've run over many a pot hole, man hole cover, Railroad crossing and it's yet to skip a CD. And that's all I ever listen to.

My only complaint is cosmetic. . . don't fancy the green lighting.

theres plenty of options for lower end pioneer, even wal mart carries several models that are < 200 dollars.

Re: New CD Player

Alpine>Kenwood>Eclipse>Pioneer>Sony>offbrand ect....

You can get some good features from Alpine and Kenwood for under 200, but I would not bother with the bluetooth stuff. The add on reciever is an extra 125 and not really worth hearing voice through your speakers/subs. I wouldnt bother with Pioneer really, they are bulletproof but just do not have the sound quality that than alpine or kenwood.

Re: New CD Player

Well I ended up getting a Kenwood for 200. It is very nice, when it works.

I need some more help...

When I use my CD player, in about 1 minute after i turn my car on, it does this thing where it basically shuts down and blinks PROTECT.

The guy at best buy where I bought it told em it has to be a problem with a speaker or two.

Is there anyway I can fix this problem without replacing my 6 x 9s and dash speakers? Please help me I need some tunes for this summer.
