Looks great! I've been trying to find time to fab up the same thing for mine. Nice to see how it looks in real life instead of just in my imagination. Good job.

Not bad. I like it. I have the crappy q-form kick panels. Not too happy about them. They get the job done but since they are universal from 82-92 they really don't fit 100%. I want to try something like what yo did with the fiber glass either in the kick panel area or the door.
those look good and original thinking but they protrude off of the door panel so far that it looks like they cut down your leg room even more. how do they fit with you sitting in the car?
Mods so far: MSD Cap and rotor, MSD ignition coil, Accel 8.8mm ignition wires, Hooker Super Comp Shortie Headers, Flowmaster 3in catback, underdrive crank pulley, BBK AFPR, custom cold air intake, NOS wet 125 shot, air foil and a lead foot! E/Ts: 15.4-motor, 14.1-spray. Other mods include keyless entry and remote start, and Sequential Turn Signals. South Carolina ---> www.scfbaonline.com
Very nice, similar to the ones I made for my car
Yours seem to stick out a little more than mine, but that could be the angle. I think this is by far the best solution for where to put speakers in the front of a third-gen
hey to answer some questions leg room is fine, it doesnt bother me at all, the color is a red matched as close as possible to my door panel and interior which is also red. they sound really well, its very directed sound and with the power im running in the rest of it i can hear the speaker super clear, even with the roofs off and going 110km/h down the highway.
Van, that looks slick man. good job. any chance you could a write a tutorial or something of the sort. I've been meaning to do that with my 87 but never know which direction to go, also what size did you put in there 5 1/4?
