I have a stock bose rear amp with speaker ported box set up in my 92 Z. It must be pretty rare because i've never seen it with any other camaro. It has to be stock because the front speakers are also bose with the amp integrated into the kick panel with the speaker and the rear speakers are on a hinge that folds into the divit where everyone puts thier extra parts at. Anyways I was wondering if anyone had any info on where I could find some parts for this system. Thanks.
I have the stock bose in my car. I had problems a long time ago with one of the amps in the rear making a popping sound. I think the parts are all discontinued for the bose. I ended up finding a whole bose set-up on ebay(kicks, rear tray, harness, etc) that way I would have some replacement parts for mine if they ever go bad. I did find a couple web sites that could repair the componets for the bose system a long time ago but I cant remember what they are. Do a search on google or yahoo for camaro bose repair or go to ebay and see if anybody has any parts listed. What parts do you need?

Yeah. I spoke with bose and they said that they would repair them if I sent them all my stuff (paid for shipping on that big rear set up) and then they quoted me at least $200.00. I thought that was rediculous. I've searched ebay and didn't come up with anything for a thirdgen other than the wrong colored kick panel set up. If you remember a good web site hit me up with a link, Thanks.
I realize this is an old thread, but the 92Z I bought last month has the rear bose setup as well. Only the front speakers are working and I'm going to pull some stuff apart eventually to get it all back in working order. Actually, I'm restoring the car back to 100% original condition. I look forward to see what this stock stereo sounds like. Now if I can only find my mix tapes from 20 years ago.
i have this setup and i was thinking i was going to sell it cause im gutting most of the car anyone have a idea on what this working setup would b worth and its gray btw
When your trying to buy or find one to keep something stock they want blood. When you have pulled one out to sell then they seem to be worth nothing. Go figure thats the way my luck runs.
