piecing together a factory power antenna system, what am I missing?
I picked up a factory power antenna + relay + wires + bezel + fender nut. But it looks like i'm missing a piece where the antenna goes through the fender. It seems like there needs to be another piece to block the hole when the antenna is retracted. What am I missing. This is what I have.

Here are some installed pics. Still doesn't look right to me. Any thoughts? It doesn't fill the hole. Maybe it will look better once I get power to it and run it through a cycle?
Re: piecing together a factory power antenna system, what am I missing?
Hey I got the antenna wired up last night.
So the antenna is not working right. It goes up a few inches then stops and the motor keeps running, even if the key is out of the ignition. I can help pull it out, all the way up, then the motor stops like it should. Then when I turn the radio off it attempts to go down, same deal, it goes down some of the way then needs my help. I understand the common problem for these antennas is the cable breaks then the motors runs forever. It doesn't sound like I have this problem because mine does move somewhat. I'm not sure how the motor can run without the antenna moving if the cable isn't broken? Maybe the cable and gear in the motor are slipping? Does a gear move the cable?
