Power antenna delete?

Has anyone deleted there power antenna and gone with one that just remains in place. I seen one on ebay that says its for third gens. I cant find a complete power antenna for a good price so I'm thinking of just going with a fixed antenna. Electrical powered parts can be a pain in the A** sometimes.

Re: Power antenna delete?

I'll be honest with you and say you can pick up any antenna at your local auto parts stores. Antennas (for the most part) are not car specific, its a different story going the other way around, getting an electric to fit, but an....analog should fit.

Re: Power antenna delete?

I picked up a powered hidden antenna from Ebay, I think it's made by Dakota Digital... I don't want an antenna sticking out from my fender, had the hole filled in... I've not used it, but I heard good reviews from others...

Most of the time, I would be listening to ipod anyways, but for local stuff and news I wanted the antenna...
