Re: No Sound???

If you have BOSE then thats why its not working. Bose speakers are not compatible with any old receiver. You either need to retain bose or get rid of it all.

Re: No Sound???

Go through Crutchfield and get the adapter for the the Bose set up and you can use your JVC head unit. I know I also have a JVC head unit and that is what I had to do.

I thought 87350IROC made it pretty clear in post #2 , but I'll explain it a little easier.

You need to just replace the bose speakers with aftermarket and run new speaker wire from the radio (bypassing the factory bose amps) to the aftermarket speakers.

Or get the adapter from crutchfield...but if your bose amps fail, your back to square one, bypassing the factory amps keeps it simple.

Easy as that

Re: No Sound???

K now i understand, but could i just buy the Bose adapter and then install new aftermarket speakers and still get sound?

Or does that just make no sense?

Re: No Sound???

I just took a few hours and rewired. All good now and sounds way better. No poping or static. Thanks again for the help.
