Best place to get a factory UX1 rebuilt?

Had no idea it would be this hard to find the factory radio for my 87 Formula. But now, I've got some decent leads on the right one.

See, my car was stolen and the @#$#@% who took it busted the crap out of the column and took the factory radio. Shop that put it back together got the "universal" Delco EQ Cassette replacement, which worked okay.

Now that one is having a brain seizure several years on, and as long as I'm yanking it, might as well get the right one back in.

Problem is, the cores I've found are all needing some kind of work -- tape belts, etc -- wondering if anyone here who's done a resto has had good experience with any rebuilders or service outlets?

Appreciate any leads you have on getting it, ahem, tuned up.

I would put a good aftermarket unit in, and actually have done myself. My factory radio was history so far back... If you want to keep it resto keep looking at the salvage yards.

An aftermarket system looks really good in our 3rd gens imho. I have a kenwood and I couldn't live without it. It has a cd player and satellite radio, not activated yet though. But can't complain if you want it to look original.
