Audio Replacement adventure

headed to my local audio store and got a great deal for 150$
WOW

i got

2 4x6 Boss speakers 2 way
2 6x9 Boss Speaker 2 way
Pioneer deck with AUX input in front
and 2 tweeters

I noticed that the front speakers are always going to be loud
so turn the fade back

and also on the driver side its a slim fit i cure it by using 3 layers of cardboard
as a "gasket" for the spacing

the rear panels

BE CAREFUL!!!
i broke off one of the clips and rest are very weak

7mm for all screws and switched them to hex

depth in the rear is no problem at all

the tweeters are velcro'd to the panel where a AC vent should be

and damn do they sound good!!

i put it up nicely on flat sound settings

but if i want it really loud i have to turn down the bass.
the tweeters handle anything i give em
the deck looks beautiful

The deck:

the wiring is strait forward and i used a scosche kit from walmart

TIP

ITS DAMN TRICKY!!!
theres sooo many adapters that i ended up cutting and trtimming my own

but the 1" extra length looks cool and helps since i alwys have my hand on the shifter

theres no problems with the metal brace inside( it actually helps out)

but overall is sounds pretty ok

could be better with like 500$ but 150$ for all that?
and everything was brand new

they even offered free install but i like to bond with my car
if ya know wut i mean???

installing took about 2 hours
30 minutes for speakers

and the rest on finding out the right adapter for the kit.
but ill have pics up soon.

Re: Audio Replacement adventure

your going to regret the boss 4x6 i got some for mine, they barely fit, and they bottom out alot, as well as produced alot of white noise... imo opinion its best to just go with some 40 pioneers from walmart
