No power to pioneer receiver

Hi guys,

I am really beating my head against the wall trying to figure this out. I recently tried installing a new pioneer receiver from crutchfield with their adapter harness. Before I installed it the old receiver (pioneer as well) was turning on. After I took it out I installed the new one and then it worked for a minute or so. I turned the car power off and then mounted it. I turned that car back on and the receiver did not have power. I took it back out checked the wires to the adapter and checked the fuses underneath the steering column. Everything looked fine (wires had not frayed, no fuses were burned out).

Earlier that day I did have an issue with my horn quit working (I can still hear a clicking when I press it). I Have a chiltons manual and checked that out and saw something about a convenience panel that had fuses for both a "ach radio" and a horn relay. Would this be the place to look at if I can find it or is there some other place I should be looking? Sorry for the length and really really apreciate the help.

Re: No power to pioneer receiver

Well I found the convenience panel (not very convenient btw) and found a burned out fuse. I replaced the fuse and receiver works! However the horn still doesnt. While I had the panel opened I pressed the horn and felt a click on the horn relay on the panel but no sound. Where should I go next for this? Thanks all!
