Speakers on FIRE!!!

My first love was a 87 Merc Sable. I painted it jet black, limo tinted all windows, red inter lights, Added More red lights under the dash by driver and pass leg area, 2 big moroso stickers on rear window(No Moroso parts on car), had 2 6x9's inside a SHOE box on floor by center console, 2 8" home audio speakers from the early 60's mounted on balsa wood for the rear..........This car was BAD A**............lol

A buddy of mine while camping, set my front speakers (6x9's) on FIRE.....When we were packing up and leaving he spilled some water out of a cup and onto my speakers(i was outside by camp sit/ did not see him spill). So he used his lighter to dry speakers, I came back to the car, he looked up at me and that's when the speaker lit up in flames. He beat the flames out with his hands and towel......Damn speakers still worked.

Anybody else have ghetto systems???lol

Re: Speakers on FIRE!!!

LB9Iroc87, I can't believe that you would feel this strongly too my post.... I started This post on the BODY forums, "What is the most Ghetto thing you've done to your car". So instead of re-typing this post, I just copied it on to here. It wasn't to be taken too suriously, just for FUN i guess! It doesn't really matter if your laughing with me, at me, or just not care!!! Just a story of what I did when I was Younger, I'm sure many others (Of coarse not yourself)...have had sh** systems in there first ride. They can, if they wish too, can post there own story of a Ghetto system. That's my reason for the post!!!!(To Have Some Fun)
p.s. take it easy, life is too short too get P-od about little things!
