If you're creative with MDF and fiberglass, you've got more than enough room. If you want to make it a bit easier on yourself, there are plans kicking around for a dual 12" box. Couple of good subs and that will more than make noise.
I built one for two p1 12s and put it on the hump where my t top bag is and im scared someone is gonna steal my stuff, ive been wanting to put them in the trunk. Youll get better sound from them on the hump, but they are a hell of a lot more visable.

in our cars u are actually supposed to get better sound by putting the sub woofers in the well
alright then, why is that? cause the sound will bounce off the back glass?
not sure why i remember seeing some theads over this, im guessing the small gap between the hump and the hatch creates sort of a directional port when the subs are place in the well.... btw ive had my subs in the well hum and back seats, and they sounded much louder in the well
Aahh ok, gotcha. Ive been meaning to put them in the well to get them out of the t top bag area and so they are less visable i just havent gotten to it yet.
make sure you get 15's that dont require a whole lot of airspace, i have a box now that takes up alot of the trunk and its under 5 cubic feet... if your good with wood use birch its lighter than mdf but i little pricier

The box in the link above is designed for 1.8 cu.ft. per sub. That's NOT a lot of air.
Also remember that two 15's is like having FIVE 10's in the back. That's a LOT of air moving.
15's will hit low but not hard/tight.

like i said watch for the recommended air space when you buy your sub, im a stereo freak myself, i have 2 12" rockford T2's in my trunk right now, the box takes up ALOT of the trunk not just the back well, and its just enough for the minimum airspace recommended for my subs, 1 good 15" in a proper encloser will give you more than enough rumble trust me...
