Re: I trade u my stuff for ur component speakers

just fyi you can get pretty decent components on ebay, u can get powerbass components for as low as $35, and before u rag on the name, they are pretty well build, they have a fiber woven cone, pretty good quality no distortion.

Not really saying they suck, but just curious to why you have sony listed as cheap but have pioneer as good. They are practically the same lol. I don't mean any offense tho.

Now Polk i know is good. And i've heard good about infinity and alpine.

Re: I trade u my stuff for ur component speakers

Higher end pioneer really blows u away.
look for example at the prs series
mid end pioneer
For the price its the best bang for the buck
I strongly believe that on audio pioneer is several steps ahead than sony.

and low end,well... walmart pioneers still sound better than walmart sonys. lol

Ive heard the lower end on both and the lows hit lower and the highs are crisper than in the sonys

is not the best brand around...theyre not focals or morels....i kno.....but they kno wut theyre doing.

I agree 100%. They are the crappiest car speakers, amps, and decks I've ever dealt with. Pure garbage.

Re: I trade u my stuff for ur component speakers

I've had all around sony's for nearly two years and they work just fine. I only asked, not stated, because the pioneers i had lasted like 2 months. Coulda just been those particular ones. no big deal. lol Now i will agree on sony subs, i had two rated at 1100w and they could barely handle 600w each.

I asked white gta, I didn't expect a bunch of sony bashing. XD

I dunno wut happened to sony...I used to love it..my dad used to have sony all around in our house and cars.(sony tv,sony home theather, sony minicomponent, sony headunit, sonysony sony..lol)It was actually good back then.

I guess they started to cut down costs... or since anything with the sony logo on it would sell they went ahead n badged any piece of junk...the old mobile ES sony series are actually very nice...but at some point it all went down for some reason...maybe only in america tho..I myself owned a high end sony xplod headunit from japan n sounded great...

Tv's are great too..I love sony TV's...but when it comes to car audio they really let themselves go...

I like sony. And yes, sony does suck, When compared to all the high end audio brands. But for just having decent sound without breaking your wallet, sony is great. But when it comes to subs, I own one 12" Jl and its way more than enough for me.

phoenix gold rsd components are just about the best bang for your buck components you're going to find.

probably a little more than what you're looking for, but i've got a set of alumapro alc 6.2 components i'm selling for 225 shipped. they set me back over 400, i used them for a year or so, still in great condition. its a rainbow cal25 silk tweeter with alumapros mid/crossover, sounds very nice.

i dont need em because i use my explorer for all my high end audio gear now and went to a full diy active setup.
