I would like to ask all of you for a little inspiration. I have searched with no realistic answers. I am looking for a custom look but would like to keep my back seat. I can do without the cargo area, but keeping the back seat is a must. Thanks for the ideas.
Q-logic has a pre built box for sale for the well area and there are dimensions for a DIY box in the Car Audio forums, if you want something on the hump, buying a box from a local audio store would work.
I have the means and ability I am just drawing a blank. I have seen the premade boxes I just wanted to see how others have set up their speakers, amps, caps etc.
aahh ok, gotcha, well Im building a new box for my 2 12s tomorrow cause the first one didnt work, ill post a pic for you tomorrow when its done. Itll sit on the hump, right behind the back seats
heres a picture of mine for my 2 10s (this is a very old picture and everything was thrown in for a test) The top of the box is built with the lip that way because I did have a piece of fogged plexi and neons on it with holes cut for the subs. It was sexy at the time but I lost some of the SQ by doing it that way. It kind of acted like a bandpass, just a very crappy one
That is a pretty nice set-up have you seen any that take up the entire cargo area? I know it won't do well for grocery shopping, but dammit an F-Body was not meant to get groceries. That is what I keep tellin the boss, but she isn't buyin it.
