Radio loses memory

Hello I just installed a radio in my car. It works fine but the only problem is that it does not memorize anything! When I turn off the car then turn it back on I lose all my radio channel sets. What could be the problem?

I'm pretty sure I wired everything right even though the wires are really confusing to trace because of the last guy who owned the car made a mess with them.

Re: Radio loses memory

I found out what the problem was, it wasn't getting constant power from the battery. I ran a wire from the trunk release to the radio and now it works fine

Was about to say that same thing, as my radio loses memory as well.
