Amp questions

Basically I would like to mount a sub in the trunk well and have the amp mounted below this and it would be completely enclosed my questions are

#1. is this a good idea to have an amp completely enclosed the main reason is due to heat as there would be no way to get fresh cool air around the amp

#2. if this would work is there a certain amount of cubic feet I should have around the amp

the amp is likely to overheat, unless u can some how route some tubbing and fan to bring in air.. its brobly best to mount the amp in the spare tire compartment or the storage area if u want it consealed
