Barry White and Marvin Gaye is usually playing, if I'm ticked off though, Disturbed, Seven Dust, or maybe some DJ Tiesto. I accidently erased Darude off my Ipod so I can't listen to that anymore.
Nothing beats "sexually healing" or "let's get it on". It also depends where you are in your car. Hearing these songs in the backseat, for some reason, sounds better!

Man, what's wrong with you? This is a thirdgen, not an escalade!
SO? Does the stereo sound better in an Escalade? I upgraded mine and the components in back sound better than the 4X6's in front. I don't see what you are trying to say?
I usually listen to metal in my TA. I'm down for any type of metal - death, black, speed, thrash, power, progressive, doom, stoner metal, metalcore, and crossover genres mixing elements of any of those listed above. Sometimes I'll listen to rock, mostly hard rock. I need to get some Alice in Chains, I think their music goes well with our cars.
Hmm, lets see...
Def Leppard, Foreigner, Journey, Rush, Scorpions, Billy Squire, Metallica for the most part. Gotta keep those stereotypes alive!
Little it of rap, AOTP, Immortal Technique, Gang Starr. and country on the radio if they're playing a song I like.

Thats just to start off with. I do like to listen to "Take me to your leader" by Incubus cause it sounds good in my sound system. I listen to everything.... except Micheal Jackson.
Don't you guys find it funny that most of us thirdgenners are metalheads? I freaking dig that, lol

Would you consider Sevendust metal? I think their song "black" is metal and nothing else really. Also, what do you classify Journey and Creed? I wouldn't say I'm into metal, just upbeat songs.
Waylon Jennings, Southern Culture on the Skids, They Might Be Giants, Shooter Jennings, Tim Wilson any southern/clasic rock (had to be cliche' somewhere, probably spelled that wrong)
I like some occasion r&b and hip hop, 80, 90s, but im mainly a rock person, so i like a lil bit of both just to name a few, im surprised nobody has named this one out yet, candlebox

haha, I thought I was the only one who listened to Billy Squire anymore. He's definitely one of the most underrated 80's artists
billy squire plays in mine too, along with the other
"sterotype"bands/artists-all on cassette too
anyone play cassette "mix"tapes in your third?
-they sound good if you use quality equipment and do it
right
Regularly played music in my car are:
1. Wildside
2. Motley Crue (kickstart my heart - great racing song)
3. Guns N Roses
4. Ratt
5. Cinderella
6. Tesla
7. Danger Danger
Basically if its 80's/early 90's its been played, and that what I mostly listen to.
I know some pretty obscure stuff....LOL. My memory is muddy. I just remember a video coming on a show that came on PBS when I was younger and I swear it said "Flash and the Pan" And acctually I thought it was "Flash in the Pan" Just goes to show I am only 99.9% right all the time......Tradgically Hip anyone???
Well in general I listen to almost anything really. but most commonly its rap or hip hop. I have 2 10's in the back, a 2000W amp, and 6x9's in the back. yes I get alot of stares or laughs, but I have heard alot worse around here lol. I also like metallica, linkin park, stuff like that. IMO listen to what you like, not what others wanna hear. I dont care what they think I am who I am
OHH YEAAH!! i almost forgot, I like to listen to old old oldddddd music, like 60's 70's maybe even earlier, or just weird *** stuff (search hippopotomus with noodles on his back) just because people stare, laugh, and I just love the reactions when people look over and see a young guy, or young people with that kind of music on. so much fun in the summer with the windows down! try it you'll see

Reason: almost forgot
Recently. Lita Ford, Aldo Nova, Jemina Pearl, Kate Earl, and Gaga (the video to Bad Romance knocks me out!) Later, maybe some Status Quo and/or O'Jays. Oh, the new Norah Jones is gorgeous--but like Kate Earl, not car music.

If you like Quo, maybe give a listen to Slade and Golden Earring as well.
I'm a big fan of the O'Jays, as well as Temptations, Stylistics, Spinners, Kool and the Gang as well as Earth, Wind and Fire.
