Anyone have pics of there subs that replace their back seats? I am not a big fan of the back seats and I have seen alot of imports where they eliminate their backseats by building and fiber glassing sub boxes in their back seats. I did find one third gen but it is a little more than I was thinking, they also have a bad *** custom dash-the interior all around is bad *** check it out and hopefully show me what you have done.
Personally the only time i think i would get rid of the back seats is if I was to put a roll cage in my car. I took a look at that site to and I like the dash but I dont like the way the put the subs. I think they should have had them facing the front that way you get a lot more sound coming forward.
I know a guy that took out his back seat in his 2nd gen. He built a huge box and put a single 15 in it, then he fiberglassed around it and molded it in. He cant put the seat back at all and there is no way he will ever recline in that thing.

Easy, I am just looking for ideas I haven't completely decided what I am going to do. I like the the two seater idea and a custom built sub box in the back seat if done right would look ok. I just dont want to over do it like in the pic I posted. I was just thinking of a well built half wall not to take up the entire rear of the car but fill in the seat area.
Its been done, but horribly I might add. Try doing a search, if nothing results, try doing a 4th gen search since I've seen it more on them. The car in the link, I dunno, I'm not digging it much. Nice wheels, the dash is a bit too "plain" for my tastes...

Definitely the car in the pic is completely overdone and gaudy to say the least. I was thinking about a nice clean half wall that looks like something that would come as a stock option. I purchased the charcoal carpet color so the box would be the same color, and I would like to make it even with the top of the rear cargo area. I wish I could find a pic or draw something so you guys would see what I am saying. It looks so clean and like a factory option
I found this link, it is actually in this forum must be old because I didn't find it when I searched but here it is I like the last pic but it looks like a ton of fiberglass work
the last pic is the back of a 4th gen, which is pretty much the same from a 3rd gen (as far as dimensions). I think regular MDF board would be fine to use...
