serious problem, no answers?

okay, i have power failure in a couple wires, i have tested them under the dash, both get 12 volts, and the stereo when i tried wiring it up wouldn't work right, the screen blinked once and that was it, nothing else. even after trying many different things, the red and black both got power, fuse box is good, the wires got 12v, wtf is wrong?

you say the red and black have power? the black should never have power. but besides that +1 85projectz28. try a diff. stereo.

yeah i have a friend who tested transistors, it's still good apparently, i meant like turning the key, theres power, when there is supposed to be.
