Factory radio help
Hi guys...I'm new to this board and I got a question...I got a Delco radio from a local parts yard, it's a Chevy radio and everything works but I know there was a Pontiac version of it...does anyone have a Pontiac radio that's fried or don't work so I could use the Pontiac parts to switch over?...Thanks!
Here's the Chevy radio I'm talking about

Re: Factory radio help
Hmmm...interesting question. I guess I was thinking the early f-bodies that used this style f radio SHARED this style of radio. The grey and orange button "Pontiac" radios didn't come along until the interior refresh, which was what...'86, or '86? And by then, the radio families had changed too, or so I thought.

Re: Factory radio help
I've seen the "Pontiac" versions before on e-bay (back when I didn't need one of course!)...I checked the few Pontiac cars that was in the yard (good thing yeah!!!) and not one had a radio in them...got this radio out of a S-10 Blazer that just came in. I may be wrong but I thought GM would make changes to the internals but cosmetically the radios were the same?

What year is your car? 1987? Do need the faceplate for the red backlighting? Depending on the year, you will also want to grey buttons. Let me know. I have a ton of parts radios laying around.
