Re: whats easier to do

Depends on if you want to go easy, or do it right. Right isnt as easy. Easy is going just under the sill trim and plastic panels. Just pull out the kick panel and sill trim, lay the wire at the edge of the carpet, and screw it back down. In the rear, just push the wire up under the plastic panels.

To do it right, pull out the carpeting and lay the cable nicely under the carpet, then put everything back.

Just FYI, I went easy on mine. Didnt want to spend days tearing down my interior since my car is my daily driver.

You have to watch for pinch points either way. I've torn into a few cars where the wiring was either pinched where the plastic panels meet, or stepped on over time.

There is a conduit along the drivers side door just inside of the sill where most of the stock wiring is routed. If you have rear defrost you could simply follow the large purple wire to the back.

Re: whats easier to do

Is there a reason not to do it that way? How much do you think the car will rattle.
