boy was i impressed...

just thought i should throw this out there...

we just recently setup a system for a buddy of mine. his car is a 98 Z28 and he wanted decent pound with simple cost.

so we set out to create this setup and at the end of the day, came out with:

-2 12" JL Audio W0 (W-zero, 4-0hm ea.)
-rockford fosgate 160.2 amp
-inhouse pre-made custom box for 4 gen camaros.
-8 guage power wiring & etc. (60amp fuse)

...for just about $500. my first thought was what an awesome deal, and my second was constant wondering of how it would sound. now keep in mind that everything up to this point is stock about his stereo system, this was just a bass upgrade.

so, we setup the system, and even use speaker level inputs to the amp to maintain the stock appearance. we bridged the amplifiers to the subs creating a 2-ohm load thus the amplifier producing close to about 160x2 RMS.

at 160 watts a piece, his system was hitting unbelievably hard. we rolled around at the end of the night tuning his system to his listening standards to provide maximum output without distorting his sound. it was great!

i can safely say that we finished up with an incredibly happy customer...
