With my wife's car, which had a CD player (I'm gonna get nice deck to hide away somewhere) I would listen to lots of BACH, as well as other classical music.

1. Tocatta and Fugue, Bach
2. Fantasia and Fugue, Bach
3. Moonlight Sonata, Beethoven
4. Adiago for Strings, Samuel Barber
5. Imperial March (Darth Vader's theme) and anything Star Was, John Williams

Bach was a cool guy, heavy metal for the seventeenth century! Lotsa heavy organ, tons of wood and metal, playing some truly awesome music that has remained classic and cool over CENTURIES. Most people think I'm wierd for that, but hey, my ears. The Imperial March turns heads, too.

In no particular order....if you know any of it....Im more fond of darker music and I can't stand seeing some dumb white kid bumping rap tunes in a camaro or firebird, it's an insult to the history of the vehicles. I can understand and relate to you older guys, Im all about the classic rock. I like all sorts of music except rap as stated earlier in the post it is not music

Skinny Puppy - Yes He Ran

Funker Vogt - Fantasies

Frontline Assembly - Comatose

Skrewdriver - n1gger I hate your face

Nine Inch Nails - The Becoming

Heck yeah! Go classical!

I need Handel's Halelluia Chorus next time i line up next to a "wing and sticker" punk.

I'm more of a Beetoven fan though. Although Bach is good. Way to go German composers.

Wie will ich mich freuen! Wie will ich mich laben!

3. DMX - Get It On The Floor
2. T.I - 24's
1. LiL Jon - Get Low

These sound awesome with a system. Get 2 JL Audio 12" W3 with a 1300watt amp or better, and you'd understand. Also, you'd get the cops called on you for "disturbing the peace", which really sux.

Classical

What no Carl Orff? There is nothing like cruising down the freeway with some Carmina Burana cranking

i'll ad to this. for cruising around.

-------------------------

Radar Love -- White Lion's version (a little heavier than the golden earing version)

Hot For Teacher -- Van Halen (the intro sounds like a loppy cam and i get to dream about the girl in the video)

Voices -- Disturbed

Beheaded -- The Offspring (this and of course bad habbit, are good road rage songs)

and of course some Lords of Acid when you want to bump.

#1 Highway to the Danger Zone -Top Gun theme... (Try speeding around in this one... nothing else compares to it..)
#2 Boys in the Bright White Sports Car - Trooper (i got a white sports car.. its perfect... my theme song)
#3-#5 arnt in order.. i cant decide
Rock Me Amadeus - Falco (fun to listen to when you're stoned)
Paranoid - Black Sabbath
Smooth Criminal - Michael Jackson (I know he's a child molester, but this is from when he used to be cool. so its still a good song...) and thats my top 5

Well after 600ish replies I want to through in a few of mine...hadn't seen any of them so far. And 7 is close enough to 5.

BAND -> SONG -> ALBUM
1. PanterA -> Mouth For War -> Vulgar Display of Power
2. Cannibal Corpse -> Sentenced to Burn -> Gallery of Suicide
3. Fear Factory -> Demanufacture -> Demanufacture
4. Black Label Society -> Life, Birth, Blood, Doom -> 1919 Eternal
5. Deep -> Hear Their Own -> Peices of Nothing
6. Crowbar -> Broken Glass -> Broken Glass

and in total contrast to 1-6...

7. Gustav Holst -> Mars: The Bringer of War -> The Planets

These where in no particular order...I just prefer violent, fast and loud music when I drive violent, fast and loud. Even #7 goes hard.

2. Supercharger Heaven - White Zombie
3. Master of Puppets - Metallica
4. Killing Field - Slayer
5. Mars, the Bringer of War - Gustav Holst

Those are but a few. I like rap (some), but like my metal for driving. And some classical, as well. Mars is bad

Anything with fast guitars and good vocals (doesn't sound like a *****) is great for fast driving, however

Mouth For War, Suicide Note Pt II, or most any other Pantera song will do perfectly, however :hail:

Hey for you guys that listen to classical, I'd like to know the name of a song but I have no idea how to describe it other then it sounds evil, and it was on the second level of the Earthworm Jim video game, the level with the cat. If any of you can remember earthworm jim that is.

EDIT ok I found a sample of it but I still don't know the name. its the first 20 or so seconds of the music.

JimmyG-91Z:

Night on Bald Mountain, by Modest Mussorgsky, if I remember correctly. If you've seen Disney's Fantasia, you'd recongnize it almost instantly. Sounds great with lotsa bass.

And Earthworm Jim? Old, right?

These are in no particular order:

1.) KMFDM - Ultra
2.) Metallica - Fade to Black
3.) Limp Bizkit - Break Stuff
4.) Foo Fighters - Everlong
5.) Evanescence - My Last Breath

Not necessarily my top five favorite songs, but definately the top five I am blasting while driving my car like I stole it and the police, FBI, US Marshalls, and various others are in hot pursuit!
