IMO they sold out with the black album. Anything that goes in my CD player was made before that. Ride The Lightning is in the player the most.

My custom CD (Metallica only: for the long drives), first 5 are:

1. For Whom The Bell Tolls
2. Sanitarium
3. The Four Horsemen
4. Ride The Lightning
5. Battery

Since I got an MP3 player for the Z28, I got way too many favorite songs... 188 to be exact

Updated since my last post:

Guns N' Roses - You Could Be Mine
J. Geils Band - Angel Is The Centerfold
Van Halen - Panama
Steve Miller Band - Jungle Love
George Thorogood - Ride on Josephine
Tom Cochrane - Life is a Highway

BTW - You guys gotta go find The Pursuit of Happiness - I'm an Adult Now

That song is AWESOME!!! It... moved me...

Mr. Cool (lol), lol, I love classical too, but the soft parts are too hard to hear with the tops off, the wind blowin' by, and the exhaust rumbling! So here are some songs from the '80s(they remind me of cruisin' in my early thirdgens), '90s and today...

"Without You," Asia
"Everybody Wants to Rule the World," Tears for Fears
"Ordinary World," Duran Duran
"Oh Life(there must be more)," Alan Parson's Project
"Everything," Lifehouse

Edit 6/7/07:

Gotta add just about anything by Rob Thomas/Matchbox20; new Aerosmith(hated them back 'then,' lol); new Santana(and friends) rocks; and who can resist Faith Hill(whatta voice!).

And wow, it's been 3 years since I posted this, so I had to check my list... and my list still stands. Sure was hard to find, though. Gotta remember, page 13.

4) "I wanna rock" -Twisted Sister

3) "Last Caress" -Misfits

2) "TNT" -ACDC

Wow, so many great songs listed in this epic post, but most of them are just great cruisin tunes. For traffic weavin at a buck ten, or a white nuckle russian roulette bluff run i need somethin with a litte NRG, and since no one has been chimin in much on the electronic genres ill give my .02 on what it takes to get me in the zone. Not exactly my 5 favs probably but its soo hard to pick.

5. German Trance - Happy Hardcore

4. Boys of Summer - DJ Sammy

3. Come in to my Dream (pulsedriver remix) - Foggy

2. Uprockin Beats - Bomfunk MC's

1. THE BEST SONG EVER TO DRIVE FAST TOO!!!!!!!!!
Whiplash (bad habit boys remix) -JFK

If your into techno at all and you have never heard my number one pick i suggest you check it out. If u still dont get the idea than go watch Mischief 3000 (might just be the first Mischief cant rember exactly but i think its 3000) Once you see the bimmers, ferraris, and porsches passin on the shoulder traffic weaving like maniacs while this song bumps youll get it

I'd say these are it in this order, but thats my opinion

1 Danger Zone - Kenny Loggins (Top Gun Song)
2 Fuel - Metallica
3 Dead and Broken - Godsmack
4 This Time - Depswa (new band, highly recommedable, if you've played nascar thunder 2004, this song is on there
5 Sweet Home Alabama - Lynard Skynard (like i even had to tell you who does that song)

Those are my top five, i play them on my brand new right out of the box JVC deck with 2 pioneer 12" subs and pioneer 6x9s in the sailpannels. not the most expensive, but its good quality for the price

The official CD of my Bird is the "Every Six Seconds" CD by Saliva. Got it right after I got my car and it rocks.

1-Click, Click, Boom by Saliva
2-Your Disease by Saliva
3-Doperide (or somehing like that, song 11) by Saliva
4-This Is The New S*** by Marylin Manson
5-Hollywood by Saliva

P.S. I like all kinds of music, as long as it's good, rock, hip hop, techno, country, ambient, classical, folk, jazz etc. "Kick Start My Heart" was the official song of my old 2G Camaro. No subs yet, but my Alpine still rocks!
