Sorry for interrupting, continue the metal fest!
Nothing defiled here, that's a pretty sweet list. I wasn't able to get tickets to the Pixies show around here, but I *did* get tickets to Morrissey and REM in October.
Here's my updated list:
1) Coldplay - The Scientist
2) Maroon 5 - She Will Be Loved
3) The Streets - Dry Your Eyes
4) Tiziano Ferro - Imbranato
5) Morrissey - Suedehead

3) Anything by George thorogood
2) Anything by Rob Zombie

"Let me tell you what Melba Toast is packin' right here, alright. We got 411 Positrac outback, 750 double pumper Edelbrock intakes, bored over 30, 11 to 1 pop-up pistons, turbo-jet 390 horsepower. We're talkin' some ****in' muscle."

well...i want to post this in remembrence of Dimebag. He was a great guitarist and musician and he will be missed very very much. I always hate seeing the great musicians go before thier time
big ups to dimebag. I am not going to sit here and say that I was the biggest fan of pantera because I knew little of them. I had much respect for dimebag though. Unknowingly I was witness to a metal moment that will never be repeated...
Disturbed was on tour (I believe last year) and they came through my area. (El Paso Texas) My buddy and I went to see the show and needless to say, it rocked. For one of the last songs of the show, they announced that some friends happened to be in town, (at a studio recording) and they would be performing a classic with them. Dimebag and Phillip got on stage and performed "respect". The crowd damn near went into a riot. I can only remember being in one larger mosh pit in my life... needless to say, a metal moment that will never happen again, and wasn't recorded.... I hate to say this... but I was their man!

i think im the only 15 yr old that listen's to 70's and 80's metal
No way, good music is timeless. I remember when I was about 17 my Mom raided my CD collection. I was like "Did you borrow my Led Zep IV CD?", and she said "Oh yeah, hope you do't mind. I love that album". A shocked look of disbelief spread across my face. Was this the same woman who had played that Rafi tape over and over again for my brother?
Check this out: Best Remakes of All Time:
5.) 99 Red Balloons - Goldfinger (?)
4.) Behind Blue Eyes - Limp Bizkit (The Who)
3.) Dancin' Days - STP (Led Zep)
2.) Turn the Page - Metallica (Bob Seager)
1.) Gin & Juice - The Gourds (Snoop Dogg)
If I'm takin the long ride up to the track, the entire Bob Seger cd will do
If I'm being a jackass on the turns, I like to put on some Rob D mp3 I stole from somewhere
Hip hop gets on my nerves now days, can't stand the tracks that come out and I definately can't stand what they put on the radio, the classic rock station keeps the #1 button on my radio.
saw some good stuff in here, I like all the references to ACDC, (old) metallica, megadeth, iron maiden, etc.
also like how all the rap dudes have to specify that the "subs are on" when would you turn them off???
my sub is always on, so the sick blast-beats knock you out of the seat ("what's a blast beat?" listen to Dimmu Borgir - Blessings Upon the Throne of Tyranny, or Kataklysm - The Ambassador of Pain).
spins lately in the Trans Am:
Hypocrisy - The Arrival

2. Most rock/metal (Metallica, Godsmack, The Offspring, System Of A Down, Evanesence, Linkin Park...)
3. Most good dance/house/techno music, the stuff you would hear in the clubs or Loui Devito, Amber, Paul Oakenfold, La Bousche, etc...
