Re: Your Top 5 Tunes

man when cruzin with the t tops off just about anything that just makes you lay 100ft of rubber at each light

depends on the day for a top 5 tunes to rock out to in the iroc anything from 80's metal and up just about all rock that kicks a$$, its cool to see other people listen to racer x and such, along with queensryche, pantera, ect southern rock, rock and metal , maiden eddie money... and the occasional song that everyone wonders why i have on my ipod because it doesnt fit at all with the rest of them.

a top five-ish no particular order

Queensryche - Jet City Woman, I Dont Belive in Love, and so on
Pantera - Walk, Cemetery Gates, ect..
Ratt - Lay It Down, Nobody Rides For Free,
Motley Crue - Live Wire, Wild Side
Cinderella - Shake Me

there are far too many awesome cruzin songs i just hit shuffle and go till i find a song i really wana hear

Skid Row - Youth Gone wild, 18 and Life, Piece Of Me, and for goin 100+ Slave to the Grind

It seems that any song is about 15 tiems better when the t tops are off and the radio is all the way up

skynard, molly hatchet, van halen, judas priest, def leppard, dokken, G'n'r, Whitesnake, megadeth, metallica, ozzy, poison, chili peppers, scorpions, ted nugent, tom petty, twisted sister, y&t the list keeps going like i said earlier anything that kicks some serious A$$

My favorite music switches so quickly that it's ridiculous.......

but here's what I've been listening to a lot lately:

1. Bat Country- Avenged Sevenfold
2. Kickstart My Heart- Motley Crue
3. I Shall Be Released- The Band
4. Life Is Beautiful- Sixx A.M.
5. Run Away- Ill Lime Green (The band I'm in)

my iTunes is pretty eclectic. Everything from The Band to Michael Jackson, Herb Alpert & The Tijuana Brass to Metallica, Aerosmith to Aaron Copland...... you get the picture lol

[quote=Phishman92;3958633]uggghh, wayyyy too many 80's hair/metal bands and AWFUL modern butt rock bands (nickelback, seether, 3doors down etc.) .....way to fuel the stereotypes guys

4. Johnny B. Goode - Chuck Berry (as performed by Marty Mcfly)

Hey Phishman, if you like that version of Johnny B Goode, you should check out the cover that Judas Priest did, its a rockin' version that almost made my top 5.Would def be in my top 10, so many awesome songs from the hairband era its hard to do a top 5, or even 20 for that matter.

Re: Your Top 5 Tunes

overall top 5:

1. Dimmu Borgir - Progenies of the great apocalypse
2. The Doors - The end
3. Stratovarius - Soul of a vagabond
4. Cradle of Filth - Beneath the howling stars
5. Iced Earth (Judas Priest cover) - The ripper

top 5 driving:

1. Iron Maiden - Run to the hills
2. Augury - Beatus
3. Floggin Molly - Drunken Lullabies
4. Agent Steel - Forever Black
5. Manowar - wheels of fire

The driving list is made up of songs which make time pass by unnoticed while driving autobahn which unfortunately in may occasions is far less exceiting as common belief makes most people think it would be. Like other major traffic channels autobahns are generally filled with traffic and driving at walking speed can be a blessing compared to some of the autobahn experiences I had in the recent past.

Of course the occasional occasion to accelerate untill the top speed limiter tells you it just decided to spoil your fun makes up for a lot of this.
