5. Blur - Song 2
4. Crystal Method - Magic Carpet Ride Remix (the original has no bass)
3. Static-X - Fix
2. Jimmy Eat World - Get it Faster
1. Sublime - April 29, 1992 (great cruising song)

I'd say the Knight Rider theme, but it doesn't feel right without a firebird (I have a Camaro).

Personally, I don't care much for rap (nelly, eminem should die), aging metal bands (metallica, nirvana, stp, led zepplin), and I can't stand pop music (you know who they are).

That is all.

Old Stuffs:

Journey - all songs (Steve Perry times only)

Meat Loaf - all songs - esp. I Would Do Anything For Love (But I Won't Do That)

Styx - all songs - esp. Grand Illusion and Lady

Queen - all songs - esp. Save Me and I Want To Break Free

Eagles - Hotel California

Santa Esmeralda - Don't Let Me Be Misunderstood and Gloria

And then I like Irish and Celtic music and some Christian rock.

In no particular order

Queen: Bohemian Rhapsody
Golden Earing: Radar Love
Black Sabbath: Iron Man
Bob Dylan: Like a Rolling Stone
Pink Floyd: Another Brick in the Wall (Part 2)

Honorable Mention:
Eagles: Hotel California
Jethro Tull: Aqualung

While my selections are showing my age I also enjoy Nirvana, Bush, Metallica and many others. My only criteria is the music must be good. Thats why rap is crap.

Yes it is a great song, Im listening to it right now . Everyone should enjoy this song....here ya go

Look, if you had one shot or one opportunity
To seize everything you ever wanted in one moment
Would you capture it or just let it slip?

[Verse 1]
Yo, his palms are sweaty, knees weak, arms are heavy
There is vomit on his sweater already
Moms forgettin' he's nervous
But on the surface he looks calm and ready
To drops bombs, but he keeps on forgetting
What he wrote down, the whole crowd goes so loud
He opens his mouth but the words won't come out
He's choking, how? Everybody's jokin' now
The clock's run out, time's up, over BLOW!
Snap back to reality, oh there goes gravity
Oh, there goes Rabbit, he choked, he's so mad
But he won't give up that easy, no he won't have it
He knows his whole back's to these ropes
It don't matter, he's dope, he knows that
But he's broke, he's so sad that he knows
When he goes back to this mobile home
That's when it's back to the lab again, yo
This whole rhapsody, better go capture this moment
And hope it don't collapse on him

[Chorus]
You better lose yourself in the music
The moment you own it you better never let it go, oh
You only get one shot, do not miss your chance to blow
Cuz opportunity comes once in a lifetime, yo
You better lose yourself in the music
The moment you own it you better never let it go, oh
You only get one shot, do not miss your chance to blow
Cuz opportunity comes once in a lifetime, yo
You better

[Verse 2]
Soul's escapin' through this hole's that is gaping
This world is mines for the taking
Make me king as we move toward a new world order
A normal life is boring
But superstardom's close to post mortem
It only grows harder, homie grows hotter
He blows us all over, these hoes is all on him
Coast to coast shows, he's known as the Globetrotter
Lonely roads got him
He knows he's grown farther from home, he's no father
He goes home and barely knows his own daughter
But hold ya nose cuz here goes the cold water
These hoes don't want him no mo', he's cold prada
They moved on to the next shmo who flows
Who nose dove and sold nada
And so the so proper
His toll, it unfolds and I suppose it's old, partner
But the beat goes on
Duh duh doe, duh doe, dah dah dah dah

[Chorus]

[Verse 3]
No more games, I'ma change for due called rage
Tear this mutha****in' roof off like two dogs caged
I was playin' in the beginnin', the mood all changed
I've been chewed up and spit out and booed off stage
But I kept rhymin' and stepped writin' the next cipher
Best believe somebody's payin' the pied piper
All the pain inside amplified by the
Fact that I can't get by with my nine to five
And I can't provide the right type of life for my family
Cuz, man, these goddamn food stamps don't buy diapers
And there's no movie, there's no Mekhi Pfifer
This is my life and these times are so hard
And it's gettin' even harder tryin' to feed and water
My seed plus teeter-totter
Caught up between bein' a father and a pre-madonna
Baby momma drama, screamin' on her
Too much for me to wanna stay in one spot
Another damn or not has gotten me to the point
I'm like a snail, I've got to formulate a plot
Or end up in jail or shot
Success is my only mutha****in' option, failure's not
Momma love you but this trailer's got to go
I cannot grow old in Salem's Lot
So here I go, it's my shot
Feet fail me not
Cuz maybe the only opportunity that I got

[Chorus]

There . That's what 45 minutes of bordome will get ya

8 Mile Soundtrack

Got the soundtrack to 8 Mile this morning - before they actually had it on the shelf, I had the woman go into the back and get it out of the box. It's very good, actually two cds in the case (one isn't stuff from the movie, but still very cool) so it gave me plenty to listen to driving today - good driving music, very good.

OK, there seems to be a common thread here, thirdgens and rock. thats cool coz it means i'm not a freak (i'm just in the wrong country)!

My music tastes are a bit all over the place, so here are my top 5

Stan - Emenem
come as you are - Nirvana
Crawling - Linkin Park
Toxcicity - System Of A Down
Break my stride (jump on the fizzy) Aron Carter ?!?

Dont even ask about the last one, even I don't know why I like it, I just do!

Fave albums are prob,

Toxcicity - S.O.A.D
Hybrid Theory - Linkin Park.

when they are in the CD player they don't come out for a long time, i've even got two copies of each so i can listen in the house or car without carying CD's around

My Top Ten (no particular order)

I don't drive yet (heck, I don't even have a license yet...), but here's my top ten for when I'm in a simulation:

Knight Rider theme (the original version, not a remix or a later techno remake)

Two CD tracks in sequence as one pick: Ed Harris et al, "Launch Control," followed immediately by James Horner, "All Systems Go-The Launch" (from the Apollo 13 soundtrack)

John Williams, "Duel of the Fates" (Star Wars: Episode 1 soundtrack--the movie left a bit to be desired in my opinion, but Williams did his usual high-quality work on the music)

J. S. Bach, "Toccata and Fugue in D Minor"

L. von Beethoven, "Fifth Symphony"

James Horner, "Operation Reciprocity" (Clear and Present Danger soundtrack)

John Williams, "The Imperial March" (The Empire Strikes Back soundtrack)

Alan Silvestri, Back to the Future theme

John Barry, "Ice Chase" (The Living Daylights soundtrack)

John Barry, "Exercise at Gibraltar" (ditto)

Metallica - Fuel (ultimate drag song)
White Zombie - Thunderkiss '65
Guns and Roses - Welcome to the jungle
Kid Rock - Cocky
Hoobastank - Crawling in the dark (makes you want to get in a '77 TA and do some barrel rolls, while doing the DEW!)

some of my favorites are
1. red hot chili peppers - soul to squeeze
2. godsmack - bad religion
3. anything 311
4. POD - boom (i think that's what it's called. i never really liked the band, but that song just gets me going)
5. STP - crackerman (great song, even better live)

but then again, sometimes i'm in one of those moods, where you gotta listen to rap, so:
1. damn it feels good to be a gangster - ghetto boyz
2. #1 Stunna - Big Tymers
3. 36 Mafia - Sippin on some syrup
4. Tupac - california love
5. any big pun, especially still not a player
edit: and i almost forgot, the best rap song ever, down for whatever by ice cube!! (gotta love that office space soundtrack!)

and since when is STP an aging metal band??
and i'm pretty sure led zeppelin isn't even a metal band, but they are pretty old. in my opinion, best band ever, i don't think i'd get much argument from that...

5.) Work it - Missy elliot
4.) Crash - Methods of Mayhem
3.) Get Nekkid - Methods of Mayhem
2.) Breathe - Prodigy
1.) More Human than Human - White Zombie

Aside from number one the rest all change... that gutiar in more human than human is probbably the single most infulential riff for me (it also is simple to play - get a slide and practice bar dives)
