Air bleed adjustment on 1407 Edelbrock...

Has anyone changed the stock air bleeds on one of these carbs? If so how did you do it? My engine is loading up at idle even when I lean the adjustment screws enough to cause lean misses at idle. The symptom has to do with my accelerator pump, I can rev the engine a few times to clean it out and then the throttle response is great but if I let it idle for a few moments the off idle response gets somewhat soggy. The engine is in good tune, my advance curve is 15* at idle, 20* mechanical all in by 3000 and 6* vacuum connected to full time vacuum. My cam really likes all this advance at idle and I can get a very nice rumpity idle but, as I said, it loads up. Thanks for any help!

I can't help (no real Edel experience) you but I am sure a Carb Tech at Edelbrock would be glad to help you diagnose and fix your problem. Give them a call?
