Interestign dyno test: Dual plane vs. single, Edelbrock vs. Brodix

On a healthy Chevy 355 with a 780 VS Holley. It's in this months Super Chevy, so I wont type up the entire dyno sheet...just the highlights. I was very impressed with the Brodix HVH dual plane tested. It looks like a great design.

Performer RPM: 412HP
RPM w/ spacer: 419hp
Brodix HVH dual plane: 423HP
HVH w/spacer: 429HP
Vic Jr. single plane: 421HP
Vic Jr w/spacer: 425HP
Brodix SP1 Single plane: 428HP

Like I always say...Edelcrap sucks

Baloney!

It just means Brodix has a slightly better design.

By the way, how do you think Weiand would do against Brodix???

I'd really like to see it to be honest. I'd guess that a Stealth or Team G would be about equal to the Brodix HVH and SP1, respectivly. Probably not any better. I have seen dyno tests of the Stealth vs the Performer RPM, and the Stealth won, but it was so long ago I can't remember any details.

I'd also really like to see some dyno comparisons on the Dart Kool can intake, and a few of Darts higher end single plains while I'm at wishing.

While I'm really wishing I wanna design my own intake.

and I want a pony.

Yeah, there's so many damned intake tests with Edelbrock intakes done by magazines. Makes a guy think that maybe manufacturers make bribes for magazine dyno tests.

Not that I have anything against people that like Edelbrock, but I'm in the market for a dual-plane, and it's come down to randomly picking a non-Edelbrock from the choices, because I know nothing about Edelbrock's various competition's products.
