I am wondering where I can find information on my rochester quadrajet carbuator. I want to know what jets/rods it has, what CFM rating it is. I have my carb number it is:
17080213
under above number is: 1504 CPX
Anyone know anything about the 630 CFM qjet ? I am intrested in finding one of these.
The only difference between the "630 CFM" Q-Jet and any other, is that there's a little metal tab on the secondary air valve that keeps it from opening all the way. It's entirely possible that the one you have includes this "feature".
Take it apart and look at the jets & rods. They're marked, you can find the sizes alot easier that way than trying to find a listing of all that stuff for a carb number, and then hoping that yours is still original (not necessarily so if it's ever been rebuilt).

Non-cc Q-jets came in two different sizes. 740 and 800 cfm.
Maximum air flow is controlled by how far the secondary air
valve is allowed to open under full throttle.
