allright what do i need to adjust to get my car to run perfect?? right now when i gas it it will pop through the carburetor. what can cause this?? it is aperfect carb. i just think when i tried to get the idle down i messed with something. there was a screw on the front drivers side of the carb that was wrapped in red coils i tightened a bit. also what should i set my idle at. right now it is at 650 in park and 700 in gear. anyways thank you all

Don't mess with that, it's the accelerator pump spring. Won't change the idle. If you tightened it, that will compress the spring and give you slack in the accel. pump linkage. When you first nail it, you aren't getting the proper amount of fuel(mixture becomes lean) and pop. Loosen the spring up until the slack is gone or it starts working better.
