Choke light stays on

Howdy all,

1984 Firebird, V6 2.8L 2bl

I, just tonight, replaced my voltage regulator. As soon as I fired the car up, I noticed the choke light stayed on continuously. Any ideas as to what the cause may be?

I also replaced the exhaust & timing chain in the last two weeks.

Any ideas are greatly appreciated!

Jim

Fixed. Turned out to be the alternator that was bad.
