Junk Yard. All the stock pieces off of my carbed car worked on the Holley I put in. One bracket had to be modified with a Dremel, but no big deal.

Curious how it goes as I am about to replace my TBI with Dominator and Holley 750 DP guy down the street was selling for 125.00 if it's this much hassle to adjust computer etc as far as cost and time.

Unfortunately, with 4L60E transmission, I am not sure how well it will work curiouis how your's does, Please.

It's not much of a hassle, really, since it just plain won't work.

It can be done, but not with the factory computer. The aftermarket will cover the transmission control if you insist on taking a good system and making it worse.

Sort of what I had heard and reason I posted questions about making changes in PROM. After running down problems from MSD coil going out and taking pickup/Modular, assuming, to tracking down EST open loop, it seem to make one understand a little more of how things worked right. Open loop was found when I checked computer connection and wire plug on firewall, found broken wire in 4" up wire on firewall.

Have a good amount invested in TBI and even if I sell, Edelbrock 3701, I was considering which way to go and believe I will try TBI mods and computer mods unless I wanted to go to 700R4 with linkage etc and told a TBI can run well and 4L60E can as well. It's just all NEW and a little frustrating right now.

Pulled heads as I was told they were sending Pro Torkers with 67 cc vs 76cc as ordered, but I was not told they would come with out valves. Fel Pro 1094 should help quench, but I am not sure if taking .020 off heads will effect manifold seal or not to up compression above 9.00:1. Thanks, I just wanted to check I am not wasting my time trying to work with TBI and ECM before I go further. Maybe check if raising Injectors will up CFM from 590 to closer to 600 CFM. All and any input, well I wanted to ask now then have it in the back of my mind, so once I headed a certain direction, I had no other concerns of what might of been etc. Maybe check out if ECM can help shifts and or if shift kits help and heard about Servo's etc as well.
