gutted my cat yesterday
Well after a long debate and waiting to get registered in a non-emissions area I decided to do it. First off it was a serious pain to get all that crap out. Second, this is what I noticed afterwards:

Sound- same
performance-same

So after everything was said and done would I do it again? No. I think I just wasted my time. Just my two cents on the whole gutted cat deal.

Was it a stock cat or an aftermarket cat? Usually the aftermarket pieces don't restrict the noise or flow much if any.

BTW - Why is this on the carb board?
