carb not getting fuel

I can't figure out why, it was working fine, then it all of a sudden died. I checked to see why it died and noticed that the carb sprayed fuel once and then after that it wasnt spraying fuel anymore. The carb is cleaned. I removed it and completely cleaned it out 2 yesterday. It ran fine today when I drove it around then block. Later on when I started it again it ran for 2 minutes and died. I have the same setup that's mentioned in the TPI to carb swap article on this website.

I really hope its not that cause I don't feel like dropping the gas tank. I have a buddy who's giving me a carb for free. I'm gonna swap them and see if that works, if not I'm going to assume its the fuel pump and I'll have to drop the tank.

I doubt swapping the carb is going to do anything, why not just test the pump?
