Hmmm, that one seems to have fallen through the cracks.

But, since it's been brought up again, that's a minor part of the swap. The much more important part is the geometry corrector bracket for the cable attachment to the throttle arm.

Re: Throttle and TV Cable Bracket for Demon

Yes I have been reading up about it. Will have to have a another look once I replace the *customised* holley bracket that I am still using.

The bracket does move around a bit and I tend to notice when the car shifts harder and higher up the rev range with this 700R4. ALso kickdown is very hit and miss. Having read the warnings about causing damage, I wont drive until I get the replacement part.

Re: Throttle and TV Cable Bracket for Demon

I am using that CSR bracket that you pictured. The throttle cable and kickdown cable both work fine, but I dont know where to correctly put the return spring. Any advice?
Thanks,
Dennis

Not sure about mounting the return spring but I will have one of these soon and will let you know what I find!

I have the CSR bracket and I just put a bolt through the AC bracket and drilled a hole in the end to mount the spring to.

Re: Throttle and TV Cable Bracket for Demon

Hi Denis,

CSR state that their brackets have means to use a the return spring. The only place I could see where this could be is in the top left hand corner maybe.
Check the little notch in the top left in the following pic?

Re: Throttle and TV Cable Bracket for Demon

Like said before there is a small notch in the back of the bracket for a return spring. You will need to get a narrow return spring as a wider one will rub on the bracket.
