I have replace my Holley 3310 with a Speed Demon 750 and the base plate for the Demon do not have the hole that maintains the bracket in place. What bracket can I use for Throttle and TV Cable for Demon Carb.
This is my orginal bracket HLY 20-95:
Hmmm, that one seems to have fallen through the cracks.
But, since it's been brought up again, that's a minor part of the swap. The much more important part is the geometry corrector bracket for the cable attachment to the throttle arm.
Yes I have been reading up about it. Will have to have a another look once I replace the *customised* holley bracket that I am still using.
The bracket does move around a bit and I tend to notice when the car shifts harder and higher up the rev range with this 700R4. ALso kickdown is very hit and miss. Having read the warnings about causing damage, I wont drive until I get the replacement part.
I am using that CSR bracket that you pictured. The throttle cable and kickdown cable both work fine, but I dont know where to correctly put the return spring. Any advice?
Thanks,
Dennis
CSR state that their brackets have means to use a the return spring. The only place I could see where this could be is in the top left hand corner maybe.
Check the little notch in the top left in the following pic?
Like said before there is a small notch in the back of the bracket for a return spring. You will need to get a narrow return spring as a wider one will rub on the bracket.
