Ok any of you guys see this carb yet?
Ok, I'm not a big fan of ebay posts but you guys gotta check this one out.100-300 MPG
I understand how a vapor carb could work but this is a tad different.

Hey!
Maybe I can drop one of these on my 400....I'd settle for the lower estimate of 100 MPG with no loss in performance!!

Anybody remember back when Smokey Yunick put a turbo on an Iron Duke Fiero, ran the fuel/air through an exhaust heat exchanger, put out 255 HP and got 30+ MPG, ran cleaner w/o cat than the then-current factory cat Fieros? Now,
that was a vapor system.
Never mind, that was before most of you were born...

There were the catalytic carburetors that burned anything from kerosene to linseed oil, but those were probably before even
your time too.

Somehow I just can't fathom how they surpass the laws of physics that demands pretty much a 14.7 to 1 air/fuel intake ratio.
But I was born in the old school era and ain't too up to date on this new math

Yea, I dont think anyone on the board is quite that old. I think it was a 1914 Holley Vaporiser that would burn filtered crankcase oil and it would have cleaner exh fumes then gasoline.

That's one of the reasons my truck is a diesel. If I ever get stuck anywhere, I can burn my own crankcase oil in a pinch.
