ECM mods for the #1228079 and CCC Q-jet

I've been experimenting with some DIY electronic mods to my VAC sensor voltage to compensate for loss of vacuum after installing a performance street cam in my 305 Monte SS...217/223 @.050" 112LSA & .502 lift. So far everything is great and it cured my TCC lockup issues too!! I'm wondering why there are no topics on modifying the codes on these ECM driven Q-jet carbs. I'm working the DIY modifications using basic Radioshack parts, but I like to know more about the actual code and how it drives the Q-jet. From studing the EFI topics it seems that the only physical difference is going from a Mixture Control Solinoid to an Injector.

Have you searched the DIY/PROM Board? There have been at least a few discussions about CCC ECM applications there. It appears that there may be some support for the 1985-up CCC ECMs. For the earlier ECMs, there doesn't seem to be much.

Craig Moates' site has a .ECU file and some .BIN files for the L69 and ZZ4 engines with the later model ECMs. I have several files that I have saved, due to the fact that my 1988 Cadillac Sedan Deville Brougham has a 403 in place of the 307 and still has the stock ECM with a modified E4ME Q-Jet. When I ever have time to dig it out and rebuild the 403, I might play around with it a little bit. The cam in the 403 was something around 225/225, but I don't have the specs in front of me right now.
