Need help. New to the Carb world

Okay this is my delema. I am buying a 1987 Camaro LG4 4bbl carb. It needs a new carb. I want to go to a junk yard and get one. But from what I have read I need a CC Carb that will work with the Dist. what vehicles can I take the carb off of that will bolt up. I don't care if I will loose any HP or fuel consumtion. Just to get it running until I can get the original Carb rebuilt. A new on from Advance Auto is like $350 and I don't have the money for that.

Anything computer controlled off a small block Chevy V8 engine of similar vintage should work. Not a truck- they have a computer plug that LOOKS like the one for the mixture control solenoid for a typical computer controlled automotive QJet.... but it's not.

Camaros, Monte Carlos, Caprices.... pretty much all the same, even in their calibration.

Ok. So just about everything GM thats not a truck or van. I am going to drive up the work on it so I can drive it home. I can't find anyone to tow it for me (its 2.5hrs from me) I am gonna stop at a few Junk yards on the way to see what I can get. Should I grab the intake manifold also or will it they bolt up. Does anyone have a pic of what the plug holes look like?
