carb fuel pump wiring

I have been looking through the carb swap info on the board and doing research but have not come up with a def. answer on the best way to redo wiring for your fuel pump and ignition on a carb motor. I'm going with a holley blue external so as of now I'm thinking of going with the wiring instructions that come with it and using a relay, if anybody has a better idea please let me know. Same goes for the ignition wiring, what is the best way to deal with it. Also if you take the computer out will the gauges still work since technically they are outputs that recieve there information from the ecm via the sensors. Any help would be much appreciated.

guages still work and all wires out of the passenger side can be removed. then rewire the fan relay with a toggle or utilize the factory coolant sensor in the head still. The fuel pump should be run off a relay, and for the ignition if you want a switch for that you can wire it up with a relay as well.
