Flooded and it's cold, what do I do?!?!

So I live in Canada and it's kinda cold out now where I am. The carb on my car is messed and I'm waiting on a buddy to rebuild the original. But right now I want my bloody car to start, and it's flooded like a bitch. It takes no time to recover from a flooding in warm weather, but now that it's cold, last time it happened before this it took like a week before she started again, is there anything I can do?? I've already took out the plugs and dried/warmed them, then I went out put em in and turned the key, wouldn't go, and took the plug out again. The plugs were yet again covered in gas. Is there anything I can do to recover from this faster while I'm making due waiting on my rebuilt carb?

With the plugs out, hold the choke & throttle wide open and crank it over several turns. If more fuel gets into the engine under those conditions, forget it, that carb needs help before it'll run again.

If no fuel gets in under those conditions (except for the accelator pump shot, that is), put the plugs back in, hold the choke wide open, press and hold the throttle to the floor while cranking again. The excess fuel should be cleared from the engine by this time, and it should start.

If fuel has pooled in the intake manifold, you may have to take the carb off and let the manifold dry out.

Now this was only about 2 weeks ago when I had it started before, could it screw up that fast?

Could.

If something got into the float needle/seat, it would certainly flood.
