Hi I have been reading for awhile on here to try and find this answer but have had no luck I will be installing a Holley Red electric fuel pump in my 85 TA for my switch to carb and removing the old intake pump because it does not work. what do I do with the return line should I get a regulator with a return or just block it off ? I know by reading here that the other line that use to go to the canister can be feed out by the fender. What have you guys done
The Holley red has an internal bypass, so you could omit the return line. Running a return-style regulator at the engine would help keep fuel temperatures down, though.
when you say omit does that mean block it off or just take it out from the tank as I will be dropping the tank this next weekend and I need to know what to do with all the lines comming out of the tank? Hope that is not a stupid question as I am learning all this here as I go.just updated my info so you could see that I am also from Canada.
I have a mallory 4309 regulator I bought awhile ago before I found out the pump in the tank was no good should I run that with the holley red to my edelbrock 1406 carb.
