.. I got it!! I'm screwed. lol. I have no clue which wires go to what on my carb...i got pictures though. I was hoping that someone might be able to help me out on this one. From what i can tell, there's four plugins and the two single blade type ones, i've got. but the other two i'm not sure of.
The connector laying on the choke thermostat doesn't go to the carb, it goes to a connector off the firewall harness, to the left (driver's) side of the distributor.
The blue wire goes up to the choke thermostat.
The two-wire black connector goes to the blue MCS connector on top of the front corner of carb. There should be another two-wire connector that goes to the coolant temperature sensor in the thermostat housing.
The wire to the fast idle (kicker) solenoid comes from the harness on the driver's side of the engine. I can't see it in your pictures.
The three-wire connector goes to the throttle position sensor on the front corner of the carb.
Looks like somebody got a little happy with a sharp blade on the vacuum hoses.
{Sorry for all the edits - I keep seeing new stuff.}
Yeah, i'm not sure what happened towards the end of that but i was replacing all those brittle vac hoses since most of them had become dust by then and the parts guy said they don't use those anymore. i think they're just plugged right now lol.

what color wires are going to the tps?

i blew a head gasket and my drunk friend talked me into fixing it. and as for the vac lines i was talking about the old material tubing they used. yeah, he helped me tear into it a little and then took off. i decided to finish anyways but the hardest part for me so far has been electrical. i hate it.
When I first swapped the LG4 into my V6 car, I labeled everything - what it was, and where it went.
The 2nd & 3rd times I had it apart, I didn't bother labeling anything, because you can't hook something up in the wrong place (unless you try really, really hard!).
well, i hooked them all up pretty simp. the coolant temp plugin needs to be replaced as well as the choke, but that doesn't seem like much. BUT, i found three more plugins to find homes for, two of which need to be replaced. I'll get a pic up of those in a second..
you only need 2-wires for a engine to run thats to the distributor and starter, but if you have accesories then you need altenator, a/c clutch/compressor and thats about it besides the battery cables
Oh, the two ground wires you have on the back of the carb originally went to the back of the passenger side head. Not sure how much difference that makes, but that's where they went.
There's another ground wire that goes to the front of the intake manifold.

You know, I asked so many people where those two wires went and not a one had a clue, aside from them being grounds.. So, i stuck em' where they are now. I put one ground to the front of the intake and the other on the back of the carb.
