Mighty demon 650 acting up

During the summer my car started acting up. When i first put the new carb on it only took 2-3 pumps to get the car started. At the end of the summer it wouldnt start with 2-3pumps I had to hit the gas pedal to WOT until the car started ( only took about 10-15 seconds). Would it be time for a rebuild on the mighty demon ??

Re: Mighty demon 650 acting up

are your plugs fouled out? Are the float bowls draining back over night and you're trying to start the engine without the carb filled? How's the timing? My carb car starts up within 3 seconds of cranking usually, so something isn't right on your setup.

I think it's about time you tuned the carb and put a fresh set of plugs in.

no bad tune which fouls out the plugs. you need fresh plugs and to tune the carb.
