Best edelbrock intake for stock 305/1406

I am just going to buy a edelbrock intake , also it solves that stock-edelbrock spacer from being there. What is the best one to get for a stock 305? I want to keep hood clearance to a minimum.

The standard 2101 would be fine. It's about 1/2" higher than the stock manifold, which should help minimize hood clearance.

Re: Best edelbrock intake for stock 305/1406

The basic Performer intake manifold will work fine...myself, I have a Performer RPM on my own '85 Z28.

Running the 14" Edelbrock open-element air cleaner on the 1406 Performer, the breather-lid-to-hood clearance is REALLY slim, but it will fit.
