What kind of carb do I have?

I have a 1985 Z28 camaro with an LG4 305. I think I have a q jet, but how do I know if it is computer controlled or not? HELP!!

If it's stock and you live in the US, then it's computer controlled.

do u see a wire plug going on top of the passenger side front?? if so you have a q-jet

Or a non-computer M4MED like was used on non-computer cars built for export.

The defining plug is on the driver's side front corner. That's the TPS for computer controlled q-jets. You have that plug, you have a CC q-jet. Don't have that plug, it's a non-CC q-jet.

Also look at the distributor - does it have a vacuum advance can on it? Yes, non-CC. No, CC.
