Replacing TPS and Solenoid?

1986 Camaro 305, 5 speed.

Starting a rebuild on the stock cc quadrajet with an Echlin rebuild kit (NAPA).

Question is: Can I replace the TPS and mixture control solenoid later and/or with the carb reinstalled or would the TPS and mixture control solenoid have to be replaced during the rebuild?

Thanks for any info.

Re: Replacing TPS and Solenoid?

If they need to be replaced, you'll be much less frustrated if you do it during your rebuild/reassembly. Both require the entire top air horn to be removed; why do it twice?
